RiviaCare is a healthcare membership program operated by Rivia, a licensed care provider in Ghana. We offer real medical care through our own clinics, doctors, and partner hospitals. We are not insurance—we deliver the care ourselves, both virtually and in person.

We’ve structured your healthcare benefit to match how care is actually used—so you get the most value where it matters.

Most members use outpatient care (like clinic visits, lab tests, or treatment for common illnesses) more often than inpatient care (which involves hospital stays for things like childbirth or severe infections). That’s why your annual benefit is segmented into:

  • 50% Outpatient care (no overnight stay)
  • 30% Inpatient care (hospital admission)
  • 20% Surgeries

This ensures you’re well-covered for everyday needs while still protected for emergencies or major procedures. It also helps your benefits last throughout the year.

There’s no fixed limit. You can visit as often as needed, as long as your total usage stays within your annual benefit value.

We’ll assess your symptoms and either treat you directly or refer you to a clinic or hospital.

No. All plans follow the same 50/30/20 structure to keep things simple and sustainable. However, your total benefit value depends on the membership fee selected.

Go to the nearest hospital immediately—your safety comes first.
After the emergency, please contact your Care Team within 24 hours so we can follow up and support your recovery.

It depends on your membership fee. Please refer to the membership plans for current coverage details, or contact your Care Team or Rivia Doctor.

Your RiviaCare plan includes:

  • Doctor consultations (virtual and in-person)

     

  • Lab tests and diagnostics

     

  • Medications and prescriptions

     

  • Hospital admissions

     

  • Surgeries

     

  • Follow-up care and treatment plans

     

  • Dependents (spouse and children) included at no extra cost

     

Certain chronic and long-term conditions may require personalized care plans outside the scope of standard membership. Contact your Care Team or Rivia Doctor to discuss your case.

If you visit a facility without Rivia’s prior approval (unless it’s an emergency), your benefits may not apply.

RiviaCare only covers healthcare services received within Ghana. Services accessed abroad are not covered.

RiviaCare is designed for small, medium, and growing businesses that want to offer health benefits with generous coverage to their teams of any size.

RiviaCare currently serves businesses in Greater Accra, the Eastern Region, and parts of the Central Region of Ghana, with plans to expand to other regions like Western and Northern.
If you need RiviaCare coverage in a specific area, please let us know—our team will be happy to assist.
